Introduction
The wireless lavaliere system by Saramonic has been a great audio companion to my productions for the past few years and have had little to no trouble with the quality and build.
I have used the double transmitter system for interviews and talking head productions. One of the more difficult setups I have experienced was shooting yoga videos with the Saramonic system.
While shooting yoga you have the added difficulty of the actor making many moves while they are talking and getting the possibility of having them rub the mic and having to do a retake on the audio. Thankfully 95% of the time there were no issues with lavs picking this kind of thing up when placed correctly and secured with some gaff tape.
Some other issues I have had with the system is frequency interference from local aircraft in the same area as my shoot. Generally this can be avoided by changing the frequency on the transmitter and receiver. This is quite easy and intuitive when using the menus and buttons on the devices.
Overall this has increased my production value and made it way easier than having to rent or borrow from elsewhere. I hope you enjoy using this as much as I do.
