Introduction
This Zeapon Motorized Micro 2 is a beast. It is built to last and has proven to be an awesome slider for product shots, film making and any other look you may be going for.
Like me, many of you have probably scoured the internet and youtube for reviews of motorized sliders. Well, after much searching and reviews it was a clear choice to pick the Zeapon for me because of it capabilities and features.
A couple of the biggest selling points I have found were the app and the payload of 4.5 kg. I found these to be important to me because I wanted it to be future proof. Bigger payload means when I upgrade my gear it will be able to cope with the heavier load. The app has full control of the slider and shows a little of what the future has in store for the Zeapon company and what they will be offering to clients. Although not confirmed, the tilt and pan head would be an amazing addition to the rig and I can’t wait.
Some things to be aware of with this kit is that does not come with some of the cables that other brands may include as a bonus. The two that I’m talking about are the “Camera Shutter Release 2.5mm” and the “PD (power delivery) Type-C USB Cable”. For me the camera shutter release was a bit disappointing not to get because I was really excited about the time lapse and wanted to try it right away. I have one on the way and will be able to make a tutorial about that soon.
Overall, this is an amazing little slider for the price and quality. I highly recommend it over other brands. It is less expensive than some but a little more than some of the others.

- can’t reset A-B points manually without turning device off and on again
- comes with a soft neoprene case but would prefer a more pro style case to protect the slider better
- no double battery system for uninterrupted looping or time lapse (not a deal breaker for most)
