Introduction
Wow, this is a cool little LED video light for both a small room key light or a fill light.
The light comes with two diffusers (white and orange) and a cold shoes swivel mount. The diffusers are ok quality but third party diffusers definitely work better as you can see in the video above. The supplied diffuser created stepping in the shadows at closer distances, but with a third party diffuser it takes away the stepping and makes it smoother.
It has 176 LED lights, produces 5600k color temperatures, and 1320 lumens. This is perfect for using for interviews and placing it on your camera as a key light for your talent. The brightneww goes from 10-99% on the digital display on the back and there are air vents on all four sides to keep the light cool when using for long periods of time.
One really cool option for this budget light is the power source can be either via NPF battery or a power adapter. Both options are extra which will raise the price a little but most people already have NPF batteries in their kits and those are really the best option when you’re going portable.
Overall, I love this light when I need an extra fill on a project and in a pinch I can use it as a key light. The only real down side it that it is not a bi-color light and you have to use the diffusers, but not that big of a deal for me.
